Introduction: Joint disorder is the pain, stiffness caused to tissues and bones around joints. A joint is a place where two or more bones combine such as shoulder, elbow, knee, neck, hips, ankles, and many others parts of your body. Joints are surrounded by soft tissues. Swelling of joints occur when fluid accumulates in these tissues. When quality and strength of the tissues surrounding our joints reduces, bones rub against each other causing joint pain, swelling and stiffness.  Joint disorders are also caused due to natural impairment of joint tissues over a period of time. Other reasons include improper diet, lack of nutrients, lack of exercise, irregular sleep pattern, etc. Damage in the joint cartilage, torn tendons, torn ligaments, injuries such as bone fractures also results in joint disorders. Gout is an example of joint disorder in which uric acid, which is a byproduct that is created by the body when breaking down certain substances in food. Normally it is excreted through urination; failure to which it gets accumulated in our joints leading to joint swelling and pain.
